The Shining is a 1980 horror movie directed and produced by Stanley Kubrick and co-written with novelist Diane Johnson. The film is based on Stephen King’s 1977 novel The Shining, and is an American-British joint production. Danny lays a false trail to mislead Jack, who is following his footprints, before hiding behind a snowdrift.
