The IMF’s target is Janos Karq, a top official of an Eastern bloc country. Briggs and the IM force, (along with the help of Joseph Baresh, an alcoholic performer who’s got a photographic memory) plan to have information given from a seemingly credible source that Karq’s a traitor.
